"Chapel formerly Methodist, now Brethren,dated 1867. Snecked stone with tooled- and-margined rusticated dressings, north part brick to rear; Welsh slate roof with white brick stack. Cast-iron railings on squared stone wall. Street front in 2 parts: Main part 3 bays. Pointed-arched 8-pane sash windows with Gothic glazing in heads; stone tablet on right between windows PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHAPEL...."
