  • Description

"The main house dates from the early 18th century although there have been later extensions. It was originally the seat of the Rawlinson family but later passed to the Archibalds. In more recent times it has been a girls' school, a children's home, a mechanical music museum and now a private residence." Photo by Stephen McKay, 1998.
