Telephone box and water pant

Village Pant

  • Description

"Decades ago, my mother won a photographic competition with a black and white shot of this scene, entitling it "Ancient and Modern" - the telephone box was the 'modern' bit at the time! Little has changed except for the attractive colourful planting (where used to be fairly-unkempt holly bushes). The narrow sun-lit passage visible just to the right of the pant leads to River View [[3319336]]." Photo by Barbara Carr, 2011.
