    'Local Heroes' cutout figures by the National Cycle Network - Route 1 (Coast and Castles). The figures are Stan Laurel (who performed at the Old Blyth Theatre Royal early in his career), Michael Sweeney (guardsman killed in Afghanistan in 2010), and PC David Rathband who was shot and blinded in 2010 in the course of duty.
