Kilham : Bowmont Water
-
Description
"Bowmont Water is a river in the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. It rises in headstreams in the Cheviots and flows generally northwards through Morebattle and Yetholm. Soon after, it crosses the border into Northumberland and continues through Kilham, Carham and Kirknewton. It is finally joined by College Burn on the boundary with Ewart, where it becomes the River Glen. Harelaw Cottages stand on the hillside beyond the river.
