    "A £21million super school packed with futuristic facilities has opened its doors to pupils. South Shields Community School is fully-equipped to deliver a modern education, boasting a huge 3D screen, amphitheatre, mechanics workshop and more. The school was created in April 2007 when King George V and Brinkburn schools merged. Pupils have been based at the former Brinkburn site while their new school building has been under construction on the former King George V site in Nevinson Avenue....."
