Sundial on Sedgefield Manor House

  • Description

"This unusual design of wall-mounted sundial faces east and therefore only records times from 4am to 11am. The marks appear to correspond to 30 minute intervals until the last hour, then 15 minute intervals from 10-11 am. 1707 is the date of construction of the building [[981411]]."
