"Hoppyland Hall 7/1/52 (formerly listed as Hoppyland Park) GV II House, now ruin. Probably C16 with late C17 and late C18 additions and alterations; last stage Gothic castle style. Sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings. 2 storeys, 4 bays; round tower projects from second and square tower from fourth bay. Tudor-arched surround to door in tower under large sash window....."
