Randolph Coke & Chemical Co, exhauster house

  • Description

"Two Sisson inverted vertical single cylinder engines driving exhausters to pull the gas off the coke oven battery. Speed control was by gas pressure. There was a third engine on a steel frame in a rather temporary looking building with plastic sides. The exhausters are by George Waller of Stroud. This site is long gone."
