Randolph Coke & Chemical Co Ltd, Evenwood

  • Description

"A very atmospheric late evening shot. This is the delivery side of the battery with the coke car in position. You can see that this is a shot from well inside the works but not in any danger. We arrived at about 1800 and left at about 2230, retiring first to a local "chippie". I haven't been in a coke works for far too many years (Orgreave might have been my last)."
