Callerton Parkway Metro & railway station (site), Tyne & Wear

    "Opened in 1905 as 'Callerton' by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Gosforth to Ponteland, this station (on the far side of the crossing, where the train is) closed to passengers in 1929. It was rebuilt and reopened south east of the crossing as 'Callerton Parkway' by the Tyne & Wear Metro in 1991, with the line now going to (Newcastle) Airport. View north west towards Airport."
