    "SIR WALTER JAMES DRUMMOND, DSc., D.C.L., who was born on 14 May, 1891, died on 30 August, 1965. His education at the Royal Academical Institution, Belfast, was followed by two years’ pupilage with Messrs Harland and Wolff, after which he came to London to study engineering at University College. In 1910 he went on to the Royal Naval College, Greenwich, where four years later he obtained a First Class Professional Certificate....."
