    "Beyond the farm are three viaducts that span the Ouse Burn. In the foreground is Byker Bridge opened 1878(road traffic); the concrete structure is the Ouseburn Viaduct designed by Ove Arup and Partners for Tyne and Wear Metro and opened 1982; and beyond that the Ouseburn Viaduct designed by John and Benjamin Green for the Newcastle and North Shields Railway Co and opened 1839, widened 1869 by the North Eastern Railway Co and listed Grade II*."
