Description
http://northumberland-cam.com/churches/edlingham.htm" >St. John the Baptist Church, Edlingham, Northumberland. The present church is a Norman church built around 1050 but there is evidence of an earlier Anglo Saxon church dating back to the 9th century. The church is dominated by the 14th century tower which was probably used by villagers during Scottish raids. http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/" >This work by http://www.flickr.com/photos/irenicrhonda/">Rhonda Surman is licensed under a http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/" >Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License. © Rhonda Surman 2010 -
