Edlingham viaduct

  • Description

"The viaduct is listed grade II and is part of the dismantled railway that ran from Alnwick to Coldstream. Opened in 1887, passenger services were discontinued in 1930 although there was a brief revival during World War II to serve RAF Milfield. Freight continued on the line, some parts not closing until 1965." Photo by Michael Dibb, 2011.
