St. Giles Church

  • Description

"St. Giles is a church on the south side of Gilesgate, set back from the road. The graveyard is rather unkempt and becomes more so the further east from the church one moves... and one can go some way! The extent of the graveyard is quite striking with many monuments almost lost in a wilderness of undergrowth and trees." Photo by Trevor Littlewood, 2017.
