Eastwood House bastle (Healey)
-
Description
"Part of Eastwood House is older than the rest and dates back to the late 16th or early 17th century. This was originally a bastle and although no original features have survived, there is one very thick wall over one metre thick. The bastle was converted into a farm building in the mid-19th century and became part of the farmhouse in the later 20th century...." -
