38-46 Stowell Street, NE1

  • Description

"These are the only survivors of the original terraced houses in Stowell Street - see [[4508085]]. They are still recognisable as simple brick artisans' houses of two wide windows, one narrow window and a narrow door with fanlight above; the wedge-shaped window heads and shallow sills in stone are still there. The Buildings of Grainger Town - No.215. See [[4406042]]." Photo by Mike Quinn, 2014.
