Road entering Close House from south

  • Description

"The houses of Close House seem to be continuous with those of Coundon Grange but the small settlement still has its own road sign which is of course in blue and yellow and in the format found very commonly in County Durham. There seems to be a particular concentration of such signs in the area between Shildon and Bishop Auckland." Photo by Trevor Littlewood, 2015.
