"Entrance to former stables now storage and meeting room. Late C18. Probably by Vincent Shepherd, estate architect to Duke of Northumberland. Ashlar. Castellated Gothick style. Segmental arch flanked by 2 quasi-towers each with 2 higher turrets, screening the buildings behind...."
