Old station at Thorpe Thewles

  • Description

"This old station building is now the Stockton Council's visitor centre for the Wynyard Woodland Park, a linear park aligned along an old railway. The path along the railway was formerly known as the Castle Eden Walkway - indeed that part beyond Stockton's boundary is probably still known by that name. Nearly all the notices still refer to the park by its old name. http://www.stockton.gov.uk/contact/locations/24569/ " Photo by Oliver Dixon, 2006.
