St Peter's Church, Thornaby, Yorkshire 1945

  • Description

A rapid rain-threatened sketch made during a moment’s sunlight, in a chilly January. An attractive incident between my aircraft hardstanding (Warwick with Pratt and Whitney engines) and my billets, opportunity seized after a dawn operation.
