The Outchester Ducket

  • Description

"This four storey tower was given planning permission in 2007 for conversion to a self-catering holiday home with bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, sitting room and viewing gallery at the top. Some maps show this as a windmill, but there is no evidence of this in its construction. It is thought to date from the 18th century and was previously used as a dovecote. (Information adapted from that given on a plaque near the entrance to the property)" Photo by Robin Drayton, 2016.
