Description
"Just to the left (west) of the level crossing is the site of Choppington station, which closed to passengers in 1950. It was subsequently demolished. Photos of the station before and after closure, with information on the history of the railway line, can be found at http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/c/choppington/index.shtml The line remains in use for freight trains."
