Description
"War Memorial 1925 by G Burn of Bebside; Heworth stone and bronze. Rectangular stone pedestal with side wings; moulded copings. Rests on two concrete steps. Bronze plaque affixed to front of pedestal contains classical figures and dedication and names of the fallen of the First World War; small plaque below commemorating Cyprus conflict; bronze plaques on either side wing recording the fallen of the Second World War...."
