Description"Built into the oldest part of the church, the east wall of the nave to the north of the chancel arch, is this rough sculptured panel showing the Adoration of the Magi, thought to date from the C12th, with the bare-footed Magi apparently dressed in kilts. In this part of Northumberland, Scotland is not far away, and we can only guess about the nature of their proffered gifts.
