Description
The gravestone of Thomas Williamston who was a Quaker. He was buried on his farm at Hayrake, Sinderhope. He had been imprisoned for not paying tithes to the Church. Many Quakers were buried on their own land rather than in the churchyard and there are several burial places in the Dales. They now have their own cemetery at Bridge End.
