"Volunteer Life Brigade watch house 1886-7 by C.T. Gomoszynski, Borough Engineer. Weatherboarding on painted rendered plinth; right return has painted brick chimney stack; Welsh slate roof with wood finials and ventilator. H-plan. One-storey, 6-bay centre block flanked by 3-storey left and 2-storey right canted-bay towers....."
