Demolished house

Description
A large number of people standing on the rubble of house, the corner of which has been completely demolished. The house was in the ‘Old Town’, Hartlepool. The damage was caused during the bombardment of the Hartlepools by Germany, which took place on the 16th December 1914. This was the first time British civilians were in the line of enemy fire during a World War.
