  • Description

Photograph taken in 1963 showing the corner of Lynn St and Lambton Street showing a row of shops, taken in 1963. Shops include K. Stanton & Son's shoe shop, Boots the Chemist and Marks & Spencers. Originally Lynn Street was one of the main streets with many clothing shops, pubs and hotels and although Lynn Street still exists many of the shops were demolished around 1968 following the construction of the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre.
