Hurlestone Tower near Newtown
-
Description
"Built in 2000 by the owners of Lilburn Tower in the tradition of the country house folly. Since it is functional - it was built as a conference venue - it is not actually a folly. It's named after the nearby Hurl Stone, an early medieval carved stone cross." Photo by Stephen Richards, 2010, and licensed for reuse under a Creative Commons Licence. -
