"Railway viaduct 1852. Probably by Sir George Barclay-Bruce. Stone, some minor repairs in brick. From north-east to south-west 3 arches, a lower and narrower arch flanked by broad pilasters, 9 large arches. Rock-faced piers, 3 in river with triangular cutwaters; heavy imposts, semicircular arches with chamfered arch rings...." -
