Description
"Drinking Fountain c.1880. Granite. Arched slab with vigorous life-size sculpture of dolphin, on broad rocky base. Tap in dolphin's mouth, iron cup on chain. Inscription above dolphin: 'FVTVRI HAVD IMMEMOR OEVI' ('Not unmindful of future generations'). Part of Sir Charles Trevelyan's remodelling of the village; the Trevelyan arms have dolphin supporters." -
