    Can you see it? Curse these unphotogenic Roman Ruins, it's the grassy lumps and that sort-of curve of darker, taller grasses. This whole hillside has some of the biggest Roman Earthworks I've ever seen; actually a collection of 5 forts/camps built at different times over the top of each other, all to guard Dere Street (which runs alongside it) A very atmospheric place - I'll go back when the army aren't using the hillside opposite and get an "overall" picture
