"Ornamental gateway. Late C18. Whinstone rubble with cut sandstone quoins, dressings and parapet. Gothick style. Four-centred arch with square impost band; cruciform loop above flanked by quatrefoil loops. Hollow-chamfered string below embattled parapet. Returns shows similar band, string and parapet. Lower flat-coped rear wall with central gateway but no arch." -
