The atlas "bring[s] together a wide range of information and evidence – geological, archaeological, historical and ecological – to explore and unpick the various interwoven threads that make up Cleadon’s unique story. The project was conceived and funded by the Limestone Landscapes Partnership, administered by the Heritage Lottery Fund, as part of a three year programme of work to engage local communities in the discovery and conservation of the landscape, wildlife and rich heritage of the Magnesian Limestone Plateau..."
