"This was St. Peter's, originally a Catholic Poor Law School opened at the turn of the last century. It has also been a corrective school and a nursing home in its varied history. It has been empty for some years now - even the windows are boarded up and painted to give realism. Plans are now afoot to convert the premises into some sort of local housing".
