The hopping's is a special place in the North East to my Dad because he used to take me on all the rides which reminds him of his childhood. He used to go with his parents and grandparents when he was little and they used to take him on the rides like he took me on. The things he remembers about the hopping's is that it used to rain each year he went and everyone got covered in mud while and getting on and of the rides. Some of my Dads favourite things are the smell of the candyfloss, donouts and other sweet treats. He also loved hook the duck because you win prizes like teddys and toys.
