We took part in this event in memory of my nana who died of Alzheimers in 2008. The event was a 10 km (6 miles) walk along Newcastle/Gateshead quayside. Passing under and over all of the landmarks, such as the tyne bridge and the millenium bridge. The walk took around 1 hour 45 minutes to complete and once we finished we would recieve a medal for taking part.
