    I volunteered for the Whitley Bay Parkrun today, saving my legs for tomorrow's fun at the Hadrian's Wall Half Marathon. It was nice to get another perspective on the event, having run the inaugural race last week. The event was run with clockwork precision and it was great that one of the Olympic Torch runners took part.
