The Nonagenarian - L.N.E.R Y7 No.985

    Celebrating her 90th birthday is steam locomotive No.985. Built at Darlington in 1923 by the London North Eastern Railway, she spent time under British Railways and the National Coal Board before being preserved in 1964. No.985 was restored at the North Norfolk Railway and recently moved to Beamish on loan, now usually seen at Rowley station on weekends where you can take a trip behind her.
