    2202 hours, 16th October 1942, 6 and 8 Tatham Street. One 500kg H.E. bomb direct hit. The bomb penetrated to the basement of the houses before exploding making a crater 22ft by 8ft deep. Adjacent property completely demolished including an educational feeding centre. 14 persons were killed, 6 seriously injured and 11 slightly injured
