Item title reads - South Shields. Steel gravity ride opened by Lord Stabolgi at South Shields. Tyne and Wear. L/S of new roller coaster, the camera pans across the rails and supports. L/S of the ride, L/S of crowds gathered for the opening. M/S of Lord Stabolgi on a platform with the mayor (?). M/S of Lord Stabolgi and a lady sat in one of the cars, they are given a push and break through the ribbon.
