    Durham, County Durham. Full titles read: "The Invasion of England - Varsity students humorous version amuses thousands of spectators." L/S's of students in fancy dress costumes walking in procession through street. At the head of the procession is student dressed as a dragon. followed by Saxons. L/S's of students trying to seek each others rowing boats on the river. Large crowds watch from the river bank. L/S of man in drag wrapped up in chains and fastened with huge padlock!. An angel like figure with wings on his head uses large key to rescue the damsel-in distress! M/S's of the man in drag kissing man in soldiers outfit.
