The photograph shows three aeroplanes on the ground 'The Gull' and two Gypsy Moths. P. F. Heppell is sitting in the cockpit of one of the Gypsy Moths with his co-pilot behind him and a second pilot is sitting in 'The Gull' with two men standing behind the plane.Amusements and Sports Collection : Local Studies Source of Information : Casey Brown a ground engineer and Baxter Ellis are in the photograph but unidentified. The aeroplanes have been identified as Gypsy Moths on the back of the photograph but may be Cirrus Moths.
