    Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A view of Manor Chare Newcastle upon Tyne taken c.1935. The photograph shows the frontage of nos 22 and 23 Manor Chare. In the foreground to the left there is a short flight of steps which leads up from the street to the path in front of nos 22 and 23 Manor Chare. There are two gateposts at the top of the steps but the iron gate is missing. A low wall with a wooden fence on top runs along the edge of the path to another flight of steps which lead down to the street. The front doors of nos 22 and 23 Manor Chare are in the centre of the building.
