There were stairs upt to the bridge on both Blackett Street and New Bridge Street. Burton is on the corner of Blackett Street and Northumberland Street. The Pearl Assurance Buildings are on the corner of Northumberland Street and New Bridge Street with Thomas Cook on the ground floor.
