    Type : Photograph Medium : Print-black-and-white Description : A 1908 view of Newcastle Quayside looking eastward from the top of a pumping station. The photograph has been taken near the Milk Market and shows piles of wooden boxes and barrels stacked up on the Quayside. Single one-storey sheds which contain other boxes barrels and sacks run along the edge of the Quayside. Ships on the Tyne can be seen beyond the sheds.
