    Type : Lantern Slide Description : A photograph of a street cleaning cart outside the Tivoli Picture Hall Walker Road/Raby Street Byker taken in 1910. A small boy is watching the horse-drawn cart (Corporation No. 13 Newcastle). There are notices on the Tivoli which say that it is closed for alterations and re-decoration.The Tivoli opened in a converted United Methodist Chapel and schoolroom in 1908.
