Buildings on two sides of the courtyard are shown in the photograph. They have whitewashed walls and the woodwork has been painted red. There is a stone plaque on the wall of the building to the right. The area in front of the buildings is paved with three short metal poles spaced at intervals across the width of the courtyard.
